T-Rex in Belk Library
Title |
T-Rex in Belk Library |
Description |
This video titled, “T-Rex in Belk Library,” was created during the May 2016 final exam week in the Carol Grotnes Belk Library (commonly known as Belk Library) at Elon University. This was the first appearance of the T-Rex dinosaur handing out candy in Belk Library. The goal of T-Rex was to pass out candy to Belk Library Elon students who were studying for their final exams. The students responded to the T-Rex dinosaur with surprise, laughter, and many fun and positive comments. Students were using their i-Phones taking photography and video recording T-Rex handing out candy. T-Rex was walking and running on the first and second floors of Belk Library using the elevator. The T-Rex ran past the Belk Library sign on the first floor near the library entrance. Adam Constantine closed the video piece with a sound-bite, “This is how finals week is done at Elon.” Some names included: Joan Ruelle, Adam Constantine, Jennifer Smith, Shannon Tennant, Teresa LePors, Randall Bowman, and many unnamed Elon students. |
